Dundonald: cosy cottage – great location

Dundonald: cosy cottage – great location. We stayed at Dundonald in August for a week. We expected the cottage to be nice, and were still very pleasantly surprised when we arrived – really cosy, characterful, spacious, well-furnished, and with a lovely garden with a great sea view. The location is great – central on Islay, and handy for exploring anywhere on the island by car. (Would also recommend the nearby Bowmore distillery – one of the more interesting we visited in terms of its historical displays.)
Gillian was courteous and helpful on emails, and Sharon (from the excellent nearby Peatzeria) was on hand to help with queries. In fact, when we had some car trouble, Sharon was really helpful in helping us to get it sorted. All perfect for our needs. Thanks for the stay – we’d love to return someday.
